Social Studies: Being a global citizen
Community Community unit focuses on students' social responsibility to contribute to our community. Students research areas of the local Nagykovacsi community in which they can improve and put their contributions into action. This unit is integrated with our persuasive writing unit as students explore how a community can solve its problems. Second graders also investigate why communities need pollinator gardens and continue to support the Grade 2 Pollinator Garden.
